Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MeetLoop may collect, process and store information when you use the service.

1. Anonymous use

MeetLoop does not require a public user profile to start a random chat. The service uses technical session identifiers to operate chat sessions, matching and communication between users.

2. Technical information

When you use MeetLoop, certain technical information may be processed, including your IP address, browser user agent, session identifier, connection status, timestamps and approximate country information.

This information may be used for service operation, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, moderation, security and system monitoring.

3. Chat messages

Text messages sent through MeetLoop may be stored by the platform together with technical information such as the chat room, sender session, IP address, user agent and time of sending.

Stored chat information may be used for moderation, abuse investigation, service security and technical troubleshooting.

4. Images and uploaded content

If you upload an image through MeetLoop, the file may be stored on our systems together with information such as the original file name, stored file name, file type, file size, sender session, IP address, user agent and upload time.

Do not upload sensitive, illegal or private material that you do not want processed or stored by the service.

5. Video and audio communication

MeetLoop uses WebRTC technology for video and audio communication. Where possible, media may travel directly between participants. In some network conditions, a TURN relay server may be used to relay encrypted real-time media traffic.

MeetLoop may process signaling information required to establish and maintain a video connection. The service is not designed to record video or audio calls as part of normal operation.

6. Reports and moderation

If a user submits a report, MeetLoop may process information associated with the relevant session, chat room and reported activity in order to investigate abuse and enforce platform rules.

7. Security logs

Server, application and security systems may record technical events, failed requests, suspicious activity, errors and security-related events. These logs may include IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser or connection information.

8. Cookies and local browser storage

MeetLoop may use browser storage, including session storage, to maintain technical session information necessary for the service to function.

MeetLoop may also use cookies or similar technologies where necessary for security, administration or future service functionality.

9. Data retention

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, moderation, abuse prevention, legal obligations and technical troubleshooting.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it is stored.

10. Sharing of information

MeetLoop does not sell personal information.

Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect users and systems, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.

11. Third-party infrastructure

MeetLoop may rely on hosting, network, security or other infrastructure providers to operate the service. Such providers may process limited technical information as necessary to provide their services.

12. Your choices

You can end a conversation at any time by using Stop or Next, or by closing the chat. You should avoid sharing personal or sensitive information with strangers.

13. Age requirement

MeetLoop is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

14. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as MeetLoop develops or when legal, technical or operational requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
